In my last Holidays i hiked through Swiss, France and Italy with my bag. I met a lot of great people and was always happy to have a laugh and a glass of wine in that time. The next station of my teaching job will be in Regensburg till end of July 2020.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the last years i travelled through several countrys, Always for several days with my bag over my shoulders. Every evening i slept in another place, in refuges, tents, hostels and sometimes on some couch. And these evenings, in the most parts, were the best ones, because only there you have the opportunity to meet someone new and can talk about your experiences you got in the last days. And although I´m not hiking till August, I want to give something back from this experiences and try my best to host People.

Music, Movies, and Books

Basically all music genres, it depends on the situation and the mood. My absolutely favourite german author is Walter Moers, if you have the chance to read "Rumo" or all other books from him, you have to do it. And I´m also a great fan of movies, and if I have to recommend some movies, I would have to say: "The Intouchables" was nice, "In Bruges", "The Departed" or "Life is good".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year I traveled through the Elsass in France. My tent was so bad, that I spontaneously decided for the next days to ask in several convents for a stay. The nuns there were so nice and helpful. In the end that nights were the highlights of the whole trip and not the many hostels.
