Hi!

I’m an orchestra teacher by day and a mariachi trumpet player in the evenings. I like hiking with my dogs and putzing around my future garden. I also enjoy computer games and most forms of screen time. I also like indoor climbing and do that for fitness.

I have two dogs, a modest couch or inflatable mattress, and very basic home amenities to share with surfers. I hope one day to offer a private room and half-bath to surfers but that might be years from now.

I used to host people more frequently but I’ve been off of couch surfing for a while. I have fond memories of it and am opening up my doors again. I’m really grateful for the people that gave me a place to sleep when I needed one and hope to pay it forward.

I enjoy just about all kinds of music. Everything depends on vibe. I like action, sci-fi, mystery, documentaries, and even the occasional romance movie or book.

I’ve traveled to Guadalajara, MX for the encuentro internacionél de mariachi. I’ve also traveled to Hawaii with a marching band.
