CURRENT MISSION

I recently quit my job in London to travel and meet people around the world. I'm creating an online learning platform called Start Loaded, it teaches and promotes the lifestyle of a digital nomad.

ABOUT ME

I've always enjoyed meeting new people, hearing about their experiences and embracing their cultures. Drumming has been a part of my life for 15 years and have always kept music close to me. Being close to nature has always been important for me. I love longboarding, snowboarding and cycling. They all give me a taste of what real freedom means.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too important to be taken seriously. I believe happiness comes from being aware and embracing every moment for what it is. I'm always up to trying something new and seeking adventures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Your house is my house or as you would say it in Mexico “Mi casa es tu casa”. I enjoy the thrill of hosting for people and making sure they have a great time. Since I've been living in London I've kept my door open and have hosted a variety of people. It's an exciting way of meeting someone new and showing them things around the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was close to the couchsurfing community in Hamburg. This enabled me to enjoy the company of like minded people from different cultures. I experienced a party in a large unused bunker and great barbecues in Hamburg's parks.

London also got me close to the couchsurfing community. I attended a few language exchange sessions and partied with some amazing people.

Music
I love anything with complex drums, funky electronic beats and clever lyrics. I love listening to live music and seeing musicians perform on stage. I love documentaries, challenging and arty movies and snowboarding films. Amelie, The original jungle book, High rise, Hail Caesar, Fear and loathing in las vegas, Into the wild, The antichrist, Dogtooth, Enter the void, Irreversible, Taxidermia, The fight club, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Rock'n rolla, Waltz with bashir, Beasts of the southern wild are just a few of the movies I love.

Books
I love to read under a tree after a good longboarding session, one of my dreams is to create a children's book with wacky illustrations. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, 100 años de soledad, Gypsy kid, The cat in the hat, The very hungry caterpillar, Stig of the dump, Catcher in the rye and many more.

I used to be a chalet host in the Alps, I enjoy cooking a good meal and sharing new recipes with people.

I'm very easygoing and always up for a good chat about life. whether it's walking the dog, cooking, cleaning, fixing the shower, looking after the kids or teaching a new skill I always try to offer something with my hosts.
