Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I joined the CS community in 2005, in Trondheim. The city had about ten members. I had heard about the more established Hospitality Club and this sort of thing seemed like an awesome way to meet interesting people from around the world. It is.
Music, Movies, and Books
Classical music, indie, alternative rock, metal; character dramas, quirky comedies, art-house films; literary fiction, popular science, funny autobiographical stuff (e.g. David Sedaris).
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Caught by darkness on a mountain in Lofoten and forced to bivouac on a tiny rock shelf using our ropes as blankets in near freezing temperatures. Terrible planning, but very memorable.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a rock climbing instructor. Happy to hit the crags if you want to sample life at the sharp end.
My Interests
Rock climbing, squash, running, biking, scuba diving, skiing, hiking, reading/writing, natural sciences, technology/computers, games, travels, food, people, all kinds of music.
