Hi everyone, my name's Thierry, I come from the Basque country, and I’m glad to be part of the Couchsurfing community !

I am passionate about music, arts and culture. I play the drums but i'm currently learning guitar too. I listen all kinds of music and I am pretty curious and open-minded. I really enjoy discovering new stuffs.
Beside music, I really love literature, poetry and any kind of art ; travelling by bicycle, running - in the mountains whenever I can - and the whole American continent - especially Latin America. As I come from a marvelous place where the ocean lays beneath the mountains, I love hiking, trail-running and generally spending time in the mountains as much as I love spending hours in the ocean.

Travelling, discovering other countries, cultures, history, cuisine, music, people, customs and habits gives sense to my life and brings me the knowledge I need to feel happy 😊

I enjoy good conversations about pretty much everything. Although, I must confess I've got a little thing for politics and social sciences. I'm always willing to share great conversations and learn from the people I meet.

I'm pretty helpful and propose to help in any work and task it needs to be done. When i'm hosted, i enjoy being part of the daily life of the ones who host me. I'm not a fantastic cook; nevertheless, I like cooking and learning about local cuisine.

Just want to help people in their trip if i can as some people did for me when i was travelling.
Introducing and sharing my culture is also something i really like. And finally, meeting people from different cultures has always been quite enriching ! I'm very curious and interested in what it is like in other parts of the world and i want to learn from people, not only from books !
