Learning to live in the NOW
Hi I'm Bert,People say I'm peaceful and calm, but then again I can be a bit talkative sometimes.I love meeting new people because every single one has his/her own story and way of looking at the world.I'm trying to be open-minded and trying to keep on questioning my own perspectives ;)Other things: I'm vegetarian, friendly, circusloving, enjoying life and respecting People & Planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I been surfing mostly (hosted a few people too) and been to a bunch of nice meetings and activities. Right now I'm finished my studies 'Special Educator' in Kortrijk, so i can host and tour people around city. Next year (from September 2013 on) I'll live in Brussels.
I've met a few people before, but i've only started using this profile from the beginning of 2012. In March I went to Copenhagen and Silkeborg in Denmark. I had an amazing time, so I went back in July to see a bit of Sweden too. I'm always looking forward to meet new people from all over the world. It's always interesting to hear new stories and perspectives.
Circus! more specific: Handbalancing, aerial silks, juggling, trapeze, poi- & staff spinning, contact juggling, fire manipulation,...
Indoor climbing, beards, lots of music (lots of different genres), percussion, nature, health, vegetarian and vegan food, coffee, thee and others that don't pop up in my mind ;)
Music, Movies, and Books
A Lot of Music, a lot of genres!
Teach, Learn, Share
I really like vegetarian or vegan cooking (like to learn much more about good vegan dishes)
If there is time and material I can always learn you the circus-arts I know (except things with big fire, since I don't want people to get hurt)
I can teach Dutch and basic French
In general I love to learn all kind of new things
