Hi, I'm Stefano, Italian, living in southern Portugal (Vilamoura, in the Algarve's famous "Golden Triangle") since 2021. I’ve travelled to 25 countries and lived in 6. I love freedom, nature, books, and meaningful human connections.

I'm a Taurus, independent, and a free thinker.
I live off the grid in many ways: no alarms, no fixed routines, and my phone is usually off (I only switch it on in emergencies and i don’t use WhatsApp, best decision ever).

I read over 50 books a year, study late at night, and enjoy quality films under a blanket or with a glass of wine.
My lifelong goal has always been the same: freedom, to travel, grow, learn, observe, disconnect, and reconnect with meaning.

I don't work for money, money works for me.
I’ve built a lifestyle where I’m completely free. When I’m not travelling, I spend time reading, learning, dancing bachata, walking on the beach, riding horses, or flying my drone across the cliffs.

I’m thoughtful, sometimes reserved, but honest, consistent, grounded.
People often say I’m “not a typical person” and I like it that way.

I’m not vaccinated, and I have my reasons.
I'm not for everyone... and not everyone is for me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I only use this platform when I sense a real opportunity for genuine human connection.
I enjoy meeting conscious, curious and grounded people — the kind of souls who seek real conversations, cultural exchange, nature, and discovering the essence of a place beyond the touristy surface.

But let’s be honest.
Now that I live in a beautiful and popular area, I’ve seen way too many girls using Couchsurfing just to get a free holiday, with zero interest in connecting, sharing, or contributing.
That’s not what I’m here for. That’s why I’ve become highly selective.

If you're just looking for a free bed in the Algarve,
maybe Netflix is a better match. 😌

My time, energy and home aren’t for everyone.
But if you’re authentic, kind and genuinely curious, we might share something meaningful, maybe even unforgettable.

I don’t host often, but when I do, it’s because something feels right.
My place isn’t a hostel and I’m not a 24/7 entertainer.
But I’m a good listener, and I love sharing moments of presence, silence, or real exchange and i shared all my time with you.

- A peaceful place to relax, with a beautiful garden and swimming pool
- A taste of real Italian cuisine, cooked with love
- A bottle of excellent wine (yes, I have a personal cellar 😏)
