ABOUT ME

Hi there!

My name is Tilia and I'm a 24 yo french gal. Student by day and backpacker/hitchiker... well, by day too i guess lol. I live in Nancy, a nice city with a bad weather, in a flatshare with 13 (yes, thirteen) roomates. So before sending any request, you might want to take that into consideration :))

I love traveling and generally being on the roads. I know, it's a shock. Bet you didn't see it coming. Discovered the whole hitchiking thing at 19 yo, never really stopped ever since. Always ready to go, I can't wait to discover all the wonderful and beautiful things that this world has to offer.

Here's a few essential and yet useless facts about me :
- I am 100% in love with hitchhiking and could spend hours talking about it. I'm not even joking a little bit. Try me.
- I'm never without a book somewhere on myself. And I do love a good recommendation, so please don't be shy and drop your fav!
- I may write about you in my traveling diary. Just to be totally transparent. That being said, I swear it will only be for the benefit of my future self trying to remember the good ol' days. Or maybe for me to read to my future children at bedtime. Who knows?

I love people. A lot. That's the main reason of me being on couchsurfing. I can't wait to meet you and to see a little bit of the world through your eyes!

ABOUT REQUESTS

I think Couchsurfing is an amazing way to meet people and make unforgettable memories. I also love it for the fact that it allows people with minimal incomes to travel around. I have been on the road with very little money before. So I honestly don't care if your goal is mainly to sleep somewhere for free on your way. If your request is a copy-paste one, I don't mind as well. Just tell me what you are expecting of your stay with me. Only thing I ask of you is to tell me a little bit more than "can I sleep at your place tonight ?". Just some context and some information about yourself, so I can peacefully convince myself that you're not a serial killer. Apart from that, I won't mind if you're just looking for a safe place to sleep on your journey. I will, of course, love to show you around and forge a deeper connection if you want. But traveling can be exhausting, and I know that. As long as you come to me with respect and good intentions, I'm fine with everything.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I enjoy traveling by myself, but I've come to realize that I really need to connect with people in order to really appreciate my stay. Couchsurfing happens to be the perfect way to do so!

Intereses

I'm interested in a lot of things, they can change as the day goes. I kind of want to learn and discover everything, so it's hard to pick something ahah

One of my main hobbies, is you guessed it, traveling. Especially hitchiking. I could talk about it on and on, as I think it is a truly magical way to travel.

I am a big reader, always have been. Fantasy, dragons, elves and whatnot, this kind of stuff keeps me going lol

I used to be in a theater troup for a few years. Acting is really something that I enjoy doing. Nowadays I sing and dance in my university choir.

Currently learning French Sign Language.
