The best about traveling is to get to know interesting people. Traveling can easily become just another form of consumption, which I try to avoid. By connecting to locals and other travelers, I try to give it something more profound than just running from beach to tourist hotspot to souvenir shop and so on. For the same reason I'm a enthusiastic hitchhiker
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Left my homecountry after I finished school to live in Mexico City and work in an NGO. Learned Spanish "in the streets". Hitchhiked from Mannheim (Germany) to Shkodra (Albania), visiting 6 countries on my way.

I'd like to improve my Spanish, so if you speak Spanish that's great. Same for Russian. If someone is interested in learning some German, I can help you with that! I'm not a big fan of smalltalk, I prefer exchanging interesting stories and experiences
