ABOUT ME
Hey!
I'm Timor, turning 31 this August, originally from Israel. I left home about 10 years ago with a backpack and a one-way ticket — and since then, the world has become my home.
After years of wandering through Southeast Asia, East Africa, and other corners of the globe, I found myself living in Switzerland for the past four years, mostly in Bern. It gave me a bit of stability, some amazing views, a strange appreciation for punctual trains — and now, it’s time to hit the road again.
This time, I'm heading to South America together with Magi, my girlfriend and travel partner. We’re setting off in August for a long journey, with no strict plans — just curiosity, open hearts, and a sense of adventure.
Couchsurfing has been part of my life for many years — it helped me connect with people in ways regular travel never could. I’ve surfed couches from India to Kenya to Serbia, and met some of the most generous, inspiring, and fun humans along the way.
I’m easygoing, respectful, and genuinely interested in people and their stories. I love meaningful conversations, spontaneous road trips, hiking in nature, cooking together, and learning from locals. I don’t need much — just a good vibe, maybe a shared meal, and if there’s music or books around, even better.
Looking forward to crossing paths somewhere in the world 🌍
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting new people and exploring places beyond the tourist spots. It’s a great way to see the world through local eyes, have real connections, and create memories that go way beyond guidebooks.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm always open to discovering new music. During the day I usually prefer instrumental music, it helps keep me calm and centered.
I don’t read a lot, but one book that really stuck with me is The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz — it’s simple but powerful.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once hitchhiked over 2,200 kilometers across India in just four days just to make it on time for the Holi Festival. It was wild, colorful, and unforgettable!
Teach, Learn, Share
I've been traveling for several years and have gathered a lot of stories, moments, and photo albums from different corners of the world. I love sharing experiences, learning from others, and exchanging ideas and cultures along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
If we cross paths, I can make you an Israeli-style shakshuka for breakfast — fresh, warm, and full of flavor. I’m also happy to share stories, help around the house, or simply bring good energy to your space.
