Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I will try to provide you with local info to help your travels and I sometimes share my home with the real travelers, backpackers, people with a passion for life and adventure and maybe a few lunatics from time to time. CS is not just about a place to crash free, it's about connecting with other like-minded people. I have met and hosted around 100 people as a CS host/ambassador and am looking forward to meeting many more of you. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I joined this site at the end of May 2007 and quickly had people requesting to surf my couch. Have not surfed myself as to date. I have had experience backpacking through Cuba and Central America and never stayed in a hotel room. I always met families who invited me into their home. I have some amazing stories to tell, and of the people I have met along the way will give me a lifetime of memories.

My Interests
Use of the Barter System to get what you need. For me, I would say anything outdoors...discovering something new, finding places that no man has gone before (tell myself that anyway) hidden beaches, nude beaches, cook outs, boating, fishing, camping, art, photography etc. Meeting and making connections with new, interesting and intelligent people.
