About Me
CURRENT MISSION
meeting all the pals of the world/cooking with CSers and working on foodblog!
Easy way to stay with me?!-help me practice your language :)
I spend an average of 4 hours a day studying languages , so if I host you, this means I won't be studying as much, but in exchange, I would like for you to speak your best language with me (yes, I speak and read all those languages, so please also write to me in your best language so I know you read my profile) If I haven't studied your best language yet, no worries, just me a message in English.
ABOUT ME
well i dont like the idea of words being able to encapsulate me, we are too complex to be identified with words, but since this is CS and we havent met yet, here are some words that can describe me, but i am more than these words just know that...egalitarian/humanist/feminist/minimalist/environmentalist, here are some more words to get a better idea of me, if you're interested...
I was once told by my 6th grade science teacher that I was "giddy". I did not know what this word meant at the time, but it certainly seemed like it was negative, because my teacher added "only elementary school girls are giddy, you are in 6th grade, so stop it". So I thought, hmm, maybe I should not be giddy. Then, I consulted my good friend Webster (dictionary), who informed me what this cryptic word meant:"frivolous and lighthearted; impulsive; flighty: a giddy young person." I decided that it was good to be giddy, and I was glad my teacher recognized me as so. I love to wake up in the morning and get excited about my day. Even the simplest things can make me giddy. From eating something tasty, like a warm muffin at a cafe, to listening to some jams on spotify that sound so delectable to my ear, I usually feel light, alive, and yes giddy. But what makes me more excited than anything is meeting someone new. I feel excited that I have the opportunity to meet this new person, to help create a new me, that had not existed before this encounter. This new person adds to who I am, and makes more conntected with the world, more complete. People don't think about it much, but the "I" that separates "me" from "you" is only the experiences we have accumulated in our lives, the relationships we have forged with every person we have met. We are like ipods with different music synced into our beings, and sometimes we meet a person who happens to have same bands, albums, or tracks as us, and sometimes these things differ. When we meet a new persn, we can give to the other what we don't have, and vice versa. As our playlist expands with these experiences, we become better and more whole. Even though we can never have every song on our ipod, that doesn't mean we should ever stop adding to what we have. But most importantly, we should realize that the ipod means absolutely nothing if it has no music saved on it to play. In fact, it is capable of nothing. It needs music to actually give it meaning, to realize what it was made for. I hope this metaphor made sense, and if you happen to share similar thoughts, than we obviously need to meet and sync our ipods!
also, i wrote this 5 years ago, so even though we dont use ipods as much, i think its still understandable, hehe : )
PHILOSOPHY
Never be stagnant, physically nor mentally.
Also, if you read the top part, you know I don't have a fixed identity, so you don't need to ask me "where are you from", rather you can ask me "who are you"...and that would be a more fitting question, and id be more excited to answer it!..I dont believe in countries (but i recognize most people do so will use it as a point of reference if need be), but i do believe in languages and culture and humanity...gooooo!

Teach, Learn, Share
I love yoga (and stretching), and can help a little but would be better at learning! I can help with the languages I know.I love cooking, and want to always learn new recipes, i can cook mostly persian and korean foods, munchmunch! Music, books, movies, anything and everything! ooohhhh. More specifically, I can teach you anything about language, I can talk for hours if you are interested, tell you things that you might not have ever thought about or considered. I can also teach you how to juggle, which I practice almost everyday. I can teach you how to do a Rubik's cube, it isn't as hard as you think! I can also help you memorize things, whether it's about language or your science work, I know some tricks. For example, I can give you the tools to memorize a deck of 52 cards with just a little bit of effort! I also would love to learn anything, whatever you passion or job is, I would love to hear about and learn why you enjoy it so much, which can help me also enjoy it!
I just really enjoy people. I could sit at a cafe with anyone, and just listen, and speak, about any topic I was asked to. So let's meet and exchange our knowledge and our memories and we can both become a better person afterwards :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well, I can share my enthusiasm and joy for having met you and for being alive, that's the easiest thing for me! I also enjoy cleaning, as in, it is fun for me, so if you need your house or dishes washed, please ask me to do it, I promise I will like it more than you! : D And like I said, I can cook some rice dishes if you would like, just let me know.
