About Me

Make sure to read my profile before you send a request.
Couchsurfing is not a "free hotel" You're asking to stay in somebody's home. For free.
If you are going to stay at my place, you can at least spend a few minutes reading my profile.
That also means that I don´t accept non-personal and copy-paste requests.
Couchsurfing is amazing! Don´t take it for granted.

Hi everyone! My name is Lirón

I'm a curious, crazy and adventurous person and always out to learn new things and try new experiences. I'm passionate about meeting people and sharing adventures!
I'm always try to look for the positive side of things, treating everything as an opportunity and trying to learn from everyone I meet. I have a high trust in people and this trust had led to some of the most amazing experiences I have ever had.
Like most people here on CS I love travelling, meeting people and learning about different cultures.

And remember... Keep smile

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I signed up and started using CS a lifetime ago and have stayed with, met and hosted many people since, some of whom are now among my closest friends.

I surf, host and attend events.
I helped hosting the weekly CS gathering in Ubud - Bali while I lived there.
CS is amazing - I feel like the Internet was invented to make CS possible!

I love the spirit of the whole project: Cool, open-minded people helping each other. To me, the best part of traveling isn't the places but the people you meet. I'd exchange being alone for one week and seeing all the world's attractions for a quiet drink/chat with someone interesting.
I have met so many amazing people through CS and the thought of all the amazing people I haven't met yet inspires me to continue traveling, hosting and surfing.
When I'm not traveling but instead living somewhere I see CS as a way to keep "traveling" while being in my home country. Meeting travellers, hearing their stories and getting inspired. It also teaches me to see my home in a new perspective and not taking it for granted.

Interests

Moving and using my body is a big part of who I am. I love doing calisthenics, lifting weights, running, cycling and doing yoga. In winter i also enjoy swimming and in summer rollerblading with my friends.
I have been dancing bachata for a while and just started learning salsa.

I started bicycle touring on my most recent trip. To me this is a completely new and very exciting way of travelling, where it's even easier to get to know local culture. It's faster than walking, slower than driving but with time still possible to cross continents.
I also like being out in the great outdoors (especially in the mountains) and I love hiking.

Besides that I enjoy hanging out with my friends or to relax at home watching a movie or reading books. I also have a wide variety of other interests and I enjoy learning about anything from history, cultures, education, languages, psychology, religion, politics, science, geography etc.
I enjoy a good cup of coffee in morning or day and a good craft beer at night.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot in both fiction and non fiction and I enjoy reading a good novel as much as I enjoy reading about education, psychology, science, history, religion and cultures or travelling.

I have always been a huge heavy metal fan but nowadays you are just as likely to find me moshing at a heavy metal gig or chilling at a jazz cafe as you are finding me listening to rock 'n' roll, classical music or in a night club dancing to the latest electro-house hit.

I love watching movies! Both fiction and especially documentaries. And I love south park
