We're currently trying to move to Aotearoa NZ. Don't know how long we'll stay, maybe a year, maybe longer...

In 2019 we started a hitchhiking trip with our tent and were trying to make it once around the world. Then Covid happened while we were in Iran and we had to go back to Germany.
Instead of baking banana bread we started our own little bean-to-bar chocolate manufacture and restored a really old van in order to travel around Europe a bit.

But now all of that is in storage and we're excited to get to know New Zealand and hope you can help us a little bit ☺️

We always love hearing stories about your country/city/culture look forward to hang out with you.

We're both passionate about protecting the environment and fair/ethical trade.
Downhill biking, road cycling and snowboarding are Tobis favourite sports.
Melanie likes downhill biking but also loves surfing (still a beginner but working on it)
We also love going to festivals in the summer and dance.
Tobi works and is very interested in IT. He also loves to find out how stuff works and then build it himself.
Melanie works as a video editor, motion & graphic designer and loves everything to do with filmmaking.

🚴🏔️ We crossed the Alps with our Mountainbikes (Tobi more than once) (120km/day)

⛵️💨 We rented a sailing boat without having a license, then realized the wind strength was 6 🙈

🚗👍🏽 We hitchhiked 7.000 km from Germany to Iran in 8 months.

🐣🛁 We raised a sick baby chick in our bathtub which then became a cock 🐓

🍫🥉 We taught ourselves how to make chocolate from bean to bar and won two awards with our first chocolate
