Greetings! My name is Tobias, im from Copenhagen, Denmark. I finished highschool (In Denmark we call that gymnasium) in 2021. I applied for university last year, without luck. Luckily i was accepted this year into medicin at the University of Copenhagen. I have spent the last years travelling, working different jobs, helping my dad renovate an old farm, going to a danish "folk highschool" (Højskole in danish), and spend lots of time with my family and friends.

Music is my biggest hobby. I play the piano and drums, but most important i just love listnening to music and talking about how it makes us feel. I love talking about the big questions and subjects. This could be relations, love, ethics, politics, norms, philosophy, responsiability, science, what our dreams are and why we have them. Turning nothing into something without hurting anyone in the process makes me happy. Being challenged, self-growth, cooking, meeting new people, learning from new people is somewhing i want to do more.

I care very much about sustainability both in terms of climate justice, but also in terms of being conscious about how my choices impact other living beings. I try to consume less, and I have been vegan since I was 15.. I also make a great deal out of sorting trash correctly :). I care about equal rights for everyone no matter sex/race/religion/sexuality. I see these things as a resonsibility for me, since i am a highly privileged person.

With that being said, i am a very calm person, and i strive to be easy to be around. I dont judge anyone who doesnt have the same beliefs as i do. I think its amazing we are all different! As said, i love to talk about these topics, but i also dont mind just talking about the weather, bicycles, movies, funny anecdotes etc, :) and as a dane, i am often sarcastic/ironic and sometimes people dont catch it.

I was travelling by train alone trough Europe and met many amazing people through CS I think humans too often are guilty of only being with like-minded people, and it's good to break the echo chamber and learn from others way of living/views on life.

Among my favourite movies are Babel(2006), Howls moving castle, Interstellar and Inception. I am generally very fond of movies directed by Alejandro Gonzalez, Hayao Miyazaki and Christopher Nolan.

MUSIC

My favourite artists are TOOL, Radiohead, Ichiko Aoba, Daft Punk, Joe Hisaishi, Pink Floyd, Kendrick Lamar and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
With that being said, I listen to most genres apart from and Christian contemporary Music and EDM ;)

I have crossed Sjælland (Denmarks biggest island, where Copenhagen is) in a completely straight line. It took 4 days, 80 kilometres of fields, forests, backyards, rivers and hundreds of fences

I can teach how to play piano/drums. I have studied music theory for 3 years, so I can teach you that as well. I can teach you to 'veganize' your favourite non-vegan meal. I love to discuss various topics, especially ethics, music, meta existentialist stuff.
