ABOUT ME

Polish-born, Austrian-raised, working in Barcelona in sales, but moving soon to product management. I studied Chinese as my BA and MA major, which brought me to China and SE Asia a few times. There, as elsewhere in the Middle East and Egypt, I travelled a lot, sometimes hitchhiking. Visited the US and Australia and some parts of South America, but definitely didn't get to know those regions good enough, so hopefully, I'll be able to resume exploring them soon.
Love meeting new people, learning about and experiencing new cultures, reflecting on my own, expanding horizons in terms of history...Getting slowly the big picture of the human nature.

Tramping twice over 10,000 km in a remote and deserted Muslim region in Western China (silk road), when I got off the Afghan border and got briefly detained by Chinese Military to end up being invited by them for a dinner
