Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau, mainland China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guilin, Yaosuo, Guanzhou, Chengdu), Vietnam, and Laos. Amazing!

Others have included:

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I've met so many amazing people in my travels, and would love to see where I can help. I'd love to meet travelers from all over the country and all over the world, and hear about your crazy adventures. I'm still posting about mine at Visit50.com. Let me know when your adventures take you to NYC, and let's explore together!

I'm now back to New York; I usually can't offer lodging, but I'd be happy to show you around when I can, and invite you to join my friends out at night.

Also, if you're interested in CouchSurfing, I highly recommend you have a profile filled out with photos so hosts can trust you and get to know you.

I just got back from a tremendous journey throughout Asia - meeting lots of wonderful people, including CouchSurfers and Trippers (Tripping.com), along the way. I've couch-surfed and hosted Couch-Surfers.

Travel (obviously!). I love photography, particularly travel photography. I just started learning how to use my SLR but I take photos everywhere I go, whether it's chronicling my trip, artistic photos, or just funny or goofy shots of my friends. Love it!

Music, Movies & Books

Music - My music interests have quite the range - from The Killers to Jack Johnson to Mumford and Death Cab for Cutie to Sublime to Notorious BIG to the Doors and Beatles to Top40 with a beat, to some EDM and progressive house on the right night, to indie bands you probably haven't heard of (yet. but you should. they rock!).

What I'm reading - The NY Times, The Economist, The New Yorker, Frank Rich and Paul Krugman's column, Ezra Klein in WashPo, et al.

At the moment I'm trying to learn more about photography. It's a huge passion of mine, particularly travel photography, and I really took it up a notch on my recent trip.

Books: recently I've been mostly reading books about business and history. Recently finished reading Malcolm Gladwell's "What the Dog Saw" and Freakonomics. I just finished HW Brands' "Masters of Enterprise"(typically read a few at a time). And my Lonely Planet for my next destination.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

The most amazing thing I've seen and done was showing a group of kids on a small island an immediate photo of themselves, quite possibly the first time they've seen anything other than just their reflection in water in their lives. Their reaction was priceless.

Also on that same adventure - I had so many great experiences: I went swimming in shark-infested waters, hiking up a volcano, surrounded by monkeys, floating in the Dead Sea, snorkeling with massive whale sharks, being arms-length from orangutans, right next to Tarsiers that look like real life Gremlins, seeing elephants in the wild - baby elephants - it was incredible! See the photos and hear the stories from these adventures at http://Visit50.com/

Machu Picchu was impressive as well.
