ABOUT ME

I live 10 minutes biking from the centre of the beautifull ancient ( but very alive ) city of Ghent. I'm surrounded by very creative people which makes us an interesting bunch! Everyone is really laidback and welcomes anyone with positive spirits!

Music has been my main occupation in my life. In my younger days I've been dj'ing professionally for a couple of years. When I was 18 I moved from Belgium to the Netherlands to pursue my musical career. During my studies as an audio engineer I already started working in this business and I gradually found myself quitting the dj'ing and focussing on my studio work. After studying in the Netherlands I moved to London and then moved back to Belgium where I founded my company "House of media". Now after over 15 years more people joined the House of media team, and we are now producing audio \ visual content for all types of clients all over Europe.

As the son of a chef I've been surrounded by good food my entire childhood, which fired my passion for cooking.

In my free time I love to party hardy or chill, and every step in between.

I'm very fond of my home-town so I'd gladly show you around whenever there is time.

PHILOSOPHY

Being positive is what gives me strenght in life. If you share positive vibes you are destined to get positive vibes back which feeds your positive thinking again, an upwards cycle...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted many surfers over the years, I've attended CS meetings and I travelled as a surfer on many of my trips.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met so many people thru CS, many of which I can call my friends. I still meet up with the friends I made during previous CS-experiences.

Happiness, music, art, health, philosophy, friendships, travelling, talking, city and nature life (although I can't deny I'm a city-type person), technology, engineering, impulsive decisions & impulsive people...

I like all sorts of music going from heavy electronic stuff to more obscure music, jazz, funk, classical... I love going out, clubbing and dancing till the early morning as much as I love attending gigs...
