About Me
Hi!
Where to start...
While I was still in my native south-west, I was told about Couchsurfing. I started to host people in my apartment, and I found it AMAZING from the beginning, sharing with them so many things and having the best human experience I could imagine.
Today, after a 2 years trip in Texas, I met my girlfriend Marine. After Covid19, we went back to France, we currently live in Lyon.
We plan to do around march 2025 a bike-trip to Nordkapp in Norway, I'll be more than thrilled to share with other people on Couchsurfing & Warmshower our mutual experiences and have good moments together.
Waiting for that, we are very happy to open our appartment to travelers around the world, passing by Lyon, to host them for a night or two and make them discover the city during a weekend for example!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
From the moment I hosted my first guests, I knew Couchsurfing was something I needed: Having people from other regions, from other countries, inviting them and having all sort of discussions, showing them your place, the things you like to do, hearing about their life, their experience, their travels ...
I believe in human, I think if everyone was as open-minded as the couchsurfers are, the world would be so much better. I want to meet new people and share with them, because there is so many things to learn, we can't be closed to the others, living only with our family, our close friends. We all need to share more and to respect each one of us, we need to hear the other and to give him all what we can. Give something to someone, it is receiving a hundred times more.
Now I'm with Marine, there is even more to share. We work during the week and sadly, we don't have as much time as we want to meet new people. Remembering how Couchsurfing opened my mind, I am impatient to host my first guests after all these years.
Interests
We are found of bike trips, hiking, sports in general, we also like a good book with a tea on the couch after a long work week. We are food lovers of course (being in Lyon is perfect for that matter ;) ), we enjoy board games (Scrabble is our weekly routine on saturday nights :) With a good beer or a bottle of wine !).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I went to Texas, I met Marine. Very shortly after that, complete lockdown because of the surge of Covid.
We lived together after not even one month knowing each other.
Not only it tightened our link, but it encouraged us to enjoy the rest of our time together (I had to leave due to the end of my VISA here) as best as we could,
So we decided (after the end of lockdown and flights resumption) to travel to the West side of the US and start a 3 weeks road-trip where hikings were our daily routine. We visited around 10 national parks, camped in wonderful places in the wildest nature, and had so much good time.
I know our next bike-trip going to Nordkapp will be even more astonishing!
