Update in 2023

Currently in Rio writing Masters thesis about indigenous suicide (Yanomami) and ilegal gold mining after spending years in amazonia.

I have a confortable couch that may be useful for those travelling in Rio.

PHILOSOPHY

only the fools don´t change. Life, an experience, a constant river. But than I got tired of the allowance of change, it seemed all superficial, but that's not a philosophy at all. I think I've given up of philosophizing

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

in the obvious way, Hosting when in 'posession' of any shelter, and surfing whilst in the nomadic mood.

Although I have always ´surfed´ alone, my hosting experiences had, most of the times the participation of the other people.
In Brazil Friends and family were always keen to have travellers around.
In Oslo my Friend and roomate Johaness (http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=BSFXB4A )
was keen and prompt to host as much as I was.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started hosting some people in Florianópolis Brazil..
I was hosted by an amazing family in Cape Town for a long time. I surfed some more in southern Africa..
I hosted up to 30 people in Oslo, than I surfed, than I hosted, than I'll surf, than I'll host bla bla bla bla..

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't know, sometimes I'm deep into Tolstoi or Erich fromm, but sometimes It's just hard to remember how I could find any sense on reading. But than I get tired of hiking and go back to the classics.
But what actually really enjoy is writing.Not proper but careless writing. Just as it comes, Yes. Sometimes with a bit of sense.
Chico Buarque is a good Brazilian Writer, Paulo Coelho is not.

I'm fond of music, my list would be sort of eclectic, but funny enough, I never look for new music, but appreciate when it comes. I enjoy Silence a lot. Not the shy one. Neither the loud one. I guess the natural one. but than what is not natural? Ok, I said I'd giving up philosophy. But than regarding the artists, I like good music, any style. Perhaps 'honest' would fit better.Yes, honest music, I like honest music. But I also like silence, don't forget it. No, seriously, stop reading, I swear you can trust me!
