I’m a linguistics student and full-time language nerd who gets way too excited about accents, idioms, and the strange little ways humans express themselves. I recently moved back home, which has turned out to be the perfect excuse to meet new people—travelers, locals, and anyone who’s up for swapping stories.

I love conversations that meander from culture to music to travel to “how did we end up talking about this?” territory. I’m happiest when I’m learning something unexpected or connecting with someone I never would’ve met otherwise. That’s why I’m here.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot, but I’m drawn to books that blend culture, imagination, and a touch of strangeness. Favorites include The House of the Spirits (Isabel Allende), Siddhartha (Hesse), The Chronicles of Narnia, and My Year of Rest and Relaxation (Ottessa Moshfegh) for messy existential vibes. Lately, I’ve been getting into Russian literature.
