I'm from New York City suburbs originally. I've been living in Detroit since 2002. I'm married. We have a goofy dog and two cats with a complicated relationship. I recently retired from teaching law at Wayne State University.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every couple of months, I travel to Mystic, CT to visit my mother, who has had a stroke. Through couch surfing, I hope to save a bit of money and to develop more a of connection to the area.

Some of my interests are music (I'm in a couple of local rock bands), chess, swimming, biking, math, book/comic collecting, photography, travel and drone piloting.
