Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Couchsurfed with True when I first got to Vancouver, then with Graham in Squamish - it was great to feel like I had instant friends. Surfed with Kevin in London which was fantastic. Can't wait to do it again! Hosted and caught up with surfers in Mansfield a few times but not many people come by this way in their travels...
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies... The Matrix (the first one), Office Space or maybe even Cliffhanger... Ha!! Music...just about anything, but mainly beats and rhymes. Books... I enjoy reading about natural history and how people first started to unravel the earth's mysteries.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The most recent amazing thing I've done is build my own house... a bit of a dream come true.
My Interests
The natural world continues to amaze intrigue and humble me. How do all the peices work together to make the whole? Other things I love are rockclimbing, mountain biking, skiing, and trail running. I'm really interested in sustainable building and ways of improving our built environment.
