CURRENT MISSION To experience some REAL Europe ABOUT ME We come from New Zealand the Island of sheep and hobbits. Being so far away from the rest of the world, when we travel, we travel! So in the last 6 months we have been through South East Asia, India, Berlin, Russia, Italy and Romania. And we're having a darn good time. Before we get to London and re-enter the real world (shudder) we'd like to view some of Central Europe from a new angle. Namely, the angle from a local's couch! PHILOSOPHY Always learning, keeping an open mind, doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING We're pretty new to this all, but we've been informed by particularly excellent people that couch surfing is the way to go. In due course, we'll both be returning the favour, with a nice comfy couch and a drop of vino in New Zealand. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Complete virgins, I'm afraid.

One Amazing Thing I've Done
-Stayed in a Hmong village in the highlands of Laos -Acted in a short film about Proust in a Tuscan castle. -Hung out in a park in Moscow where the women all wear stilettos -Stayed 2 nights in the Indian desert on a camel safari with 3 Muslims and 3 Jewish people.

Cor. Well... we both have seen a lot of the world recently and can definately recommend places. We promise not to bore anyone with our slide-shows though. We both know random cool stuff like juggling or piano playing but neither of us know haw to build a house.

We like: music (pop, folk, classical, jazz... all good stuff), travel (naturally!), wine, films, art, good conversations, walks on the beach, candle-lit dinners, you know the drill...
