Trying to appreciate each new day a little more than I did the previous.

ABOUT ME

Living in Titusville (30 miles east of Orlando). Married twice, divorced twice; once from a woman, once from a man. Three exceptional children from my first marriage--all grown up and on their own. Titusville is near the Kennedy Space Center and both Disney and Universal Studios are within an hour's drive. I work from home as an independent sales rep for several suppliers of gizmos and gadgets used by the aerospace and defense industries. I'm not sure when it happened but the calendar says I'm 64. Fortunately I still feel young and have a lot of energy to explore the things I've missed so far!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I own a 3 bedroom home with a guesthouse-to-be out back. I've been working on the MBR/MB so guests will have a nice place to stay while I work on my guest house which will give my guests more room and their own kitchen. I'm located 2 miles from the intercoastal waterway and just a hop, skip and a jump from the Atlantic shore. Playalinda Beach (on the ocean) is close and is divided up into 13 "separate" beaches and---as luck would have it---beach #13 is clothing optional. If Playalinda is too far away or you just want to lay low, I have a private backyard which has also been designated "clothing optional".

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Over the years I've had a lot more experience sleeping on my own couch than I'd like to admit but I recently had the opportunity to stay with someone from couchsurfing.com. I have hosted seven times and it's been a great experience for me (and I hope it was for my guests, too).

Interests

Mowing lawns (yes, really). If I visit you I promise to mow yours if you have one; mom-and-pop restaurants; hiking (I did 10 miles along the Appalachian Trail while nude); nudity when appropriate (and when isn't it?); skinny dipping; cruises; learning about wine; historic places; camping, summer theater, winter theater, spring theater and fall theater; weekend getaways, remodeling my home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was wading in chest deep water off the island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean when I was circled by an 8' shark. It only had to circle once and I was GONE!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I want to teach my children social and environmental responsibility and live by example;

Learn:
Before I leave this earth I'd like to know that "coming out" is no longer the issue it was for me---and others before me;
