i would consider myself as an open-minded, understanding and easy-going person, always up for some fun, but also the need to be alone sometimes. i love to listen to and talk about music, go to concerts, read good books, travel, eat well, meet new people, learn new languages, get to know different cultures and and love to have conversations about everything under the sun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

haven´t had the chance yet to surf myself, but i would love to, and people are always welcome to stay at mine!

兴趣

i just LOVE music, it makes me happy and feel free.. it makes my heart jump if i hear a good song, and makes me feel better if i´m down.
photography is also a passion, i love to catch "moments" and lights and can´t go anywhere without one of my cameras.
and of course travelling is essential for me too - i couldn´t live without it!!!

starting with music - i like those kind of songs that make me feel good and leave a tune in my ear. all the time i hear a song like this i NEED to know which one it is - if it´s on the radio, in a bar or restaurant.. i just have to find out!!
basically i love slow and melodic rock songs as well as jazz/ blues most. some of my favourite interprets:
staind, alter bridge, creed, 3 doors down, james blunt, live, 12 stones, john butler trio, anouk, david gray, dishwalla, guns´n roses, incubus, seether, k´s choice, sarah mclachlan, cold chisel,metallica counting crows, mr. big, nirvana, richie kotzen, dashboard confessional, sade, the frames, tracy chapman, trouble over tokyo, sigur rós, porcupine tree, radiohead, pearl jam, placebo, ...

books: i currently read "die wette" from steve hely & vali chandrasekaran.
also love books of paulo coelho, wolfgang hohlbein, ...

movies: i´m addicted to "prison break", other than that i like to watch profound and entertaining movies. to name a few - fight club, the sixth sense, braveheart, seven, save the last dance, blood diamond, taxi 1-4, ...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

travelled around the world for 1 year

dived the great barrier reef, saw sharks in south africa and had an amazing dive in mexico

jumped out of a plane in san diego, probably never ever again.. ;)

lived with a bunch of africans and cockroaches in minimal space and ate "pap" with the fingers on a floor

did white water rafting in costa rica and almost drowned

picked grapes, capsicums and chillies in australia and had backache after a long working day

lost my camera while diving in terrigal ( australia) and got the developed pictures one month later

met a couple in south africa, saw them again 3 weeks and a few thousand km later, and then met them for the third time in a bar in auckland, new zealand - without ever knowing about each others travel plans

went pighunting in australia

got a speeding ticket in new zealand and never paid

climbed the table mountain

ran all the way down from the top of the teide (highest mountain of spain, in tenerife) to the bottom in 1 hour, as i missed the last gondola

gave birth to my amazingly sweet daughter sarah

hm.. i could share my music and stories about travelling. i could teach how to make lasagne and apfelstrudel. and i´d like to learn how to play a few songs on the piano or the guitar.
