Overview
About Me
Just quit my job, cashed out some savings, ready to do some serious YOLO’ing! Road trip? I think so.
I truly am excited to be alive and take in all that this planet has to offer, while respecting our Mother Earth too! I am easy-going, high energy but not high maintenance, kind of hard to offend, TMI is my middle name (I'm an over-sharer, so beware), really down to Earth and accepting as long as you're respectful too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As a surfer, I usually just enjoy simple food, drink, and conversation with hosts. Nothing extravagant. Unless you really want to go there, in which case I can rally! YOLO
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed in the US, Canada, Yukon, Alaska, Belgium, and England so far.
Most nights I'm in bed by 10:00pm or so, and I spend a lot of quiet time reading. Not into partying. Just want that to be clear! Unless you think a jigsaw puzzle and cozying up on the couch with a book is a party, then I'm hella into partying. ;) But I also do appreciate a good night out with friends, staying up late philosophizing.

Baking, cooking, reading, camping, NATURE, travel, new ideas, crafts, sunrise and sunset, Tori Amos, natural foods, aliens?, sustainability...
I LOVE trying new things, and I'm just about always up for an adventure. Some deem me shy and uptight by my demeanor, but I'm really not, I promise! Ask me anything, I will answer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Tori Amos, Breaking Benjamin, Starset, 10 Years, Sublime with Rome, Rebelution, Chvrches, Grimes, Royksopp, techno/house, pop music (guilty pleasure), so many others! Not much rap, but country's all right--I do come from a hillbilly town, after all.
Books: I love to read! Catcher in the Rye, cookbooks, raw food "uncookbooks," spiritual/introspective literature, mysteries, true crime, art books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every sunrise and sunset, every day is breathtaking to me.
Driving by Denali in Alaska was pretty damn amazing.
3 week high-school exchange program to Guadalajara, Mexico.
And then FINALLY hosting 4 exchange students from Japan, Pakistan, and China recently.
Dabbling in roller derby…
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very interested in intentional community-living, eco-villages, tiny houses, natural material building; also fitness and wellness, including mental health/spirituality (not religion).
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of laughs, smiles, and memories.
