Overview
About Me
Grew up in Indiana, and after travels across Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East, I've found a new home in Santa Rosa, California.
During the summer I spend a lot of time camping and kayaking here in California on the weekends. I'm an amateur welder, woodworker, homebrewer and gardener, so that's what I generally keep busy with at home. I work full time but travel as much as possible, mostly in the western United States. Current bucket list items: Eastern Europe and a Baja off-roadtrip.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I rely on CS to meet good people when I'm in a new place, and it's served me extremely well. When I moved here I didn't know a soul and now I owe the Couchsurfing project a great deal for the dozens of amazing friends I currently have.
I've couchsurfed a handful of times, and have stayed with lots of other friends I've made while traveling. I love staying with locals when I travel; it's much more interesting than just meeting tourists at the hostel.
I've hosted over 100 surfers since moving to Santa Rosa, all of them wonderful experiences and I'm looking forward to many more.

Teach, Learn, Share
The more I travel the more I learn that fear makes strangers of those who should be friends.
