Hi!! First of all, I think being called a dork is a compliment. I enjoy laughing at myself and the silly things that happen every day. I like to plan fun things, whether it's at the bowling alley, pub crawls, crazy parties, or a movie night. I try not to say "no" too often because my best memories are from when I've said yes. I'm originally from Seattle, and when my company asked me to move to Warsaw, I said yes of course. I've also lived in NYC and SF. Poland and Europe have opened my eyes to so much culture and history, and I can't wait to see more of it, and to learn more about the world from people that I meet.

I like to meet people when I travel to other cities, and would love to meet anyone coming through Warsaw...let's grab a beer (or vodka, since it's Poland)! And I'll try to host whenever I can.

I've been to 25 European countries in my first 25 months in Poland. And I've been to games at 25 different Major League Baseball stadiums in the US (it's probably not that cool unless you're American and a baseball fan). I guess I like the number 25.

My grandparents were taken from their homes and placed in a Japanese Internment Camp in Idaho during World War II because the US government thought they were Japanese spies, even though they were born in the US and were American citizens. They had their freedom taken from them for 3 years. Shortly after my dad was born (in the camp), my grandfather joined the US Army to prove his dedication to the US. His unit was made up of Japanese Americans, wanting to show that they were just as American as everyone else. They ended up being the most decorated group in US military history. It seems that this part of history is not really talked about, because the US is so embarrassed. If you want to know more, I'd be happy to share.
