About Me
你好! 我是加拿大人,现在住在桂林学习中文到明年四月。我很喜欢认识游客,接待沙发客,还是学世界的文化和语言。
Hello, Bonjour, Hola, Hallo, Ciao, Olá! I'm a Québécois adventure traveler, software engineer, polyglot, and pianist. Born and raised in Montréal, later lived 10 years in the US and a cumulative 1 year in México, with a wealth of backpacking, living abroad, and couchsurfing stories to share. I'm studying 中文 in Guilin until April 2026 and happy to meet or host world-curious travelers. Let's skip the beer and go straight to tea ;).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing matches my values: sharing my space and experiences, turning strangers into friends, and opening up to the cultures of the world. I try to meet at least one interesting person every week. Will you be the next one?

Music, Movies, and Books
At any given time, my favorite book is the one I'm reading, my favorite music is the one whose sheet music I'm deciphering, and my favorite videogame is the retro/indie Metroidvania I'm playing through (if any). My TV/movie culture is close to nonexistent.
