i'm interested in pretty much anything. I love conversation & seeing the world through other peoples' eyes. I love art and laughter, interested in anthropology, physics. I could not live without music of all kinds, I enjoy singing, talking, dancing, creating, expression with or without words...

Not too big on your average hollywood fare or glossy fiction, Generally I enjoy messages that inspire, teach and broaden horizons

movies:
1 giant leap, everything is illuminated, into the wild, wristcutters, black snake moan, wristcutters, snatch, lammbock, laurel canyon, coffee and cigarettes, l'auberge espagnol, harold & maude, memoirs of a geisha

music:
blues, folk, funk, jazz, vocal, acoustic - going on a mad musical binge with anything stemming from Mali at the moment...
basically I love music that is honest & has personality and warmth - that makes me move my hips and curl my lips

books:
LOTS of em. Of Human Bondage, tom robbins, hesse/steppenwolf, "slowness" (kundera), hemingway etc etc etc

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

The most amazing thing in my life will always be my kid, giving birth to him and being blessed to have this person in my life... trying to raise him well and show him all the good stuff that life on this planet brings. I've done amazing things, seen incredible stuff, but it all pales in comparison to that.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Interested in any kind of artistic project or initiative, currently (properly) learning metal sculpture (welding, cutting etc), also trying to teach myself the guitar my son (16) does poi and wouldn't mind teaching some of that too.
