ABOUT ME

I'm Pixie - an emerging performer from Milwaukee. In school for archaeology, I realized that my life needs a lot more spice and a bit more magic. A friend taught me how to juggle, and I've taken off from there. I'm breaking into street performing, hesitantly, but I'm using my time abroad to test my skills. My passion is faery costuming, and I'm hoping, once I get home, to start selling my creations seriously, at different fairs in the area, while performing on the side. I'm just trying to spread the magic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just starting, really. But I can offer plenty and plenty of fun stories. When I get home from my travels I can offer tours of Milwaukee, I know all the cool places of the East Side and Riverwest - known for its art and alternative social life.

Interests

I think I'm interested in more than I can handle. I love folklore and mythology. Talking to strangers and collecting stories is another one. In my spare time I knit, draw, write, play flute and piano, sing, dance, and juggle.

Francesca Lia Block - author of modern fairytales - is my favorite author. I love fantasy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my 18th birthday, I went skydiving. I felt like I could fly!
