CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy every part of the world that I can get to.

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun and nerdy guy, born in Hualien City, Taiwan. I got adopted to Sweden when i was 8 months.

I love hanging out with people.
Big passions in my life are games (all kind of 'em), photography and singing, preferably in harmonics.
I live toghether with my partner Zuzanne, who has no experience of Couchsurfing yet, and her daughter Emilia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from all around the world and get to learn bits and pieces of their culture, and maybe taste some. Food is a major part of a culture and I really enjoy cooking and try food from all around the world. I also believe that even in our multi cultural society we're quite isolated and don't bother to learn about other cultures. CS is a wonderful community to broaden the horizons and one can get to know people from very many different cultures.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm not hosting due to I've changed apartment, got a new girlfriend and a bonus kid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've hosted somewhere around 250 persons now. It has been really fun and interesting meeting people from all around the world. I love cooking and eating so cooking typical meals from my and my guests countries is one of the best things to do. So far I've only managed to surf two times, but it was really enjoyable.

Interests

Games, singing, FIREWORKS!
Meet new peoples.
Having fun.
And of course, traveling and taking photos!

I have more than 50 board games in my shelf, every 2nd Thursday it's boardgame night :) But I really like to play as often as I can.

I've started rockclimbing two years ago, but I still haven't tried to climb outdoors. If you can teach me it would be really cool!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books
Wheel of Time, Legend of a Seeker, Game of Thrones.
I'm kind of Fantasy geek ^^;
the Deeds of Pakesenarrion.

When it comes to tv-series i like Sci-Fi like SG-1 SG:Atlantis, Star trek voyager,
but also teen/collage series like Friday night lights, Greek.
and ofc comedy, How i met your mother and The big bang theory.

Oh how could i forget, i also like musical ones, like Glee and S.M.A.S.H. too bad that they only aired 2 seasons of smash ^^;

That was what I liked 10 years ago, I still like them, but I also watch first responder series now days, like S.W.A.T. 9-1-1, Fire country and a lot of other suff. Nightwatch and Reacher is also 2 good series and Clarksons farm is so cozy. Yes things with Jeremy Clarkson can be cozy :)

Music, well I don't listen to that much music. When i grew up , my sis played music in our livingroom and i either played video or computer games. Now days it's almost the same, but it's my partner that shuffles Spotify instead of my sis :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013 i went to my birth country for the first time ever since I got adopted. Toghether with 12 other that have been adopted through Christian Salvation Services we went to attend the 30th anniversary for CSS. There we met with others adopted through CSS to different parts of the world. I manage to get around 40 of us to go and have a legendary KTV night (karaoke) :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm.. what can i teach?
Some basic Swedish, basic Swedish cooking and some Asian inspired cooking :)
How to find your way around sthlm maybe ^^
How to play settlers of cathan or any other of the boardgames that i got.
I can also teach the traditional drinking song "Helan går"

What I Can Share with Hosts

Travelstories, a place where you could rest your head and body.
A good meal of food cooked together.
And of course i could teach you a new boardgame.

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Greece, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
