我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

“Have you heard of this website? This is for you! You should already be using it!”
– said dozens of my friends for the past few weeks.

So, here I am!

Am I looking for a couch? Well, yes and no.
To me, it's more an excuse to meet fellow human beings that can become my friends and a part of my traveling adventures!

The day I decide to settle somewhere, I'll be on the other side, offering my couch.
I can already picture a bright orange one with two pillows. I have a thing for this color. It makes me smile.

I’m not talking about butterflies. I’m talking about a mix of enthusiasm and gratefulness.
A sense of “That’s exactly what I needed to hear and see!”
Movies that move you, that spark possibilities and inspire you so much that you’re bursting with the urge to create.

Books?
I love the ones which make the printed paper disappears!
The ones which connect with you so deeply that you’re suddenly transported in the middle of a conversation.
And, without realizing it, you’ve already grown up and learned so much.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The most amazing thing I've done is to decide to listen to myself and follow my guts.
That’s how I ended up doing a bunch of things like:

- Cutting my hair and donate it to an association
- Sleeping under the stars in the desert
- Creating my own shortfilms and concepts using only a phone
- Taking a gap-year
- Taking a one-way trip from Paris to LA to see Earth Wind and Fire
- Backpacking and couch-surfing around LA
