CURRENT MISSION For the time being, we're just focusing on slowing life down in a city that moves far too fast for its own good. Julia's just finished her master's and tyrone is back in uni after eight years of backpacking. ABOUT ME If the others columns don't sum things up, we're maritimers living in Toronto for the time being. Probably be here another year or so before we move on to (hopefully) greener pastures someplace a little less crowded. Tyrone's spent most of the past decade on the road before settling in toronto a year ago, and Julie spent most of those same ten years locked up in a university but still found time to backpack in Australia, Eastern Europe, Egypt and across North America. PHILOSOPHY contribute to the world in a positive way. A lot of bad things are happening in this world, and fixing them starts with people taking responsibility for their own actions. That said, we like to have fun too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Tyrone: been reading War and Peace in the Global Village by Marshall McLuhan lately, but not much in the way of fiction. i like chilled out tunes, jack johnson, ben harper, bob marley. I use music to relax julia: same on the music. being trained as a lawyer, i watch a lot of crime shows. Like movies with angelina jolie in them.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
tough question. Tyrone: smuggling personal artifacts for tibetan families split up by the Chinese occupation. To make a long story short I had many strange and fantastic occurrences happen on a journey between China and Tibetan Monasteries in exile in India. Too long to fit in here, but stop by and I'll tell you all about it. Julia: An on-demand lunar eclipse on a trek in the Australian OUtback a few years ago. No idea it was coming, but we wished out loud that the full moon would go away for just one night so we could see the desert stars. And it did. A full lunar eclipse started happening minutes after the comment was made. bizarre happening.
My Interests
Tyrone's photographs have been shown at several canadian galleries. Julia works with and studies refugees. we're both interested in travel and learning the world around us, obviously.
