About Me

to travel and be a citizen of the world

You can be my next best friend so you have to find out:)
I value the CS community and I met wonderful people here. As a sign of courtesy, please read my profile and the "my home" section before you send a request.

Life is too short to be passive. By actively doing something that will make you happy, you move an inch closer to happiness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Learning new things and experiencing the intricacies of life are always intriguing so I try to join and participate whenever possible. Hands-on experience is still the best method of learning.

Surfing with Hocine in France (October 2012) and traveling Asia (November 2013). I've been an active member since then and mostly travel nowadays with friends I met here.

I am also fortunate enough to experience various local CS activities in the bay area including the 14th year anniversary of CouchSurfing!!!

Adventures and trying new things. Living life to the fullest and learning from others.

Music, Movies, and Books

Into the Wild, Moonlight Mile, Braveheart, Gran Torino, Seven, Fight Club, The Dreamers, Like Minds, Magnifico, Europa Europa, The Last King of Scotland, Tigerland, Life as a House, Glory, Unfaithful, In the Bedroom, Stealing Home, Munting Tinig, Titanic are some of my fave movies!

I love R&B and easy listening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbing Mt. Whitney which is the highest mountain of the lower 48 states in the US.

Jumping at the world's Highest Bungy Bridge in South Africa.

Staying at one of the townships in Durban.

Shark Diving in Cape Town.

Enjoying the Island of Sabtang, Batanes, Philippines as the only tourist/visitor of this 1K plus inhabited island with no restaurants, no commercial establishments and the electricity runs from 6am to midnight only.

Scuba Diving in Hawaii

Exploring Comuna 13 in Medellin, Colombia

Night Snorkeling with Manta Rays in Hawaii

Witnessing the Northern Lights in Alaska

Meeting all the good members of the CS community.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I'm a CPA so if accounting sounds fun then I can provide my insight and knowledge about it. Cooking is also a passion of mine so I can share my Filipino, Italian or even Korean recipes. We are both student and teacher, always shifting roles in the nuances and variety of our relationships so let's keep it rollin'.

Learn: I am always hungry when it comes to knowledge so I will appreciate your inputs and opinions on various fields.

Share: my passion in life, traveling, sharing stories, singing, hiking, camping, outdoor activities, my place, cooking and much much much more:)
