CURRENT MISSION Honestly, I don't currently know ABOUT ME I will be moving to NYC to earn my MFA this fall at the New York Academy of Art. I love to draw, play music (not so well), make videos, and have fun, but I work A LOT at home: 3 jobs and full-time school. I love my family more than anything, and we are very close. PHILOSOPHY I have worked very hard to overcome adversity in my life, and I hope to work with others and set a living example that effort can pay off and people will help you when you try.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING In my hometown, I have hosted many people on my couch and currently, while I am in Italy, I have guests staying with my roommates while I am gone. My family is big and I'm used to sharing space with friends and family. This is the first time I have been out of the country and the first time I have needed a couch! COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE None! Sorry to say... I have experience sharing my couch but not using someone else's.

Movies: Pan's Labyrinth, Let the Right One In, The Fisher King, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaption, Terminator 2, Hellraiser, Jacob's Ladder, (the list is long). Books: Oryx and Crake, The Little Prince, The Things They Carried, Hitchhiker's Guide (all of them)... Music: Led Zeppelin, Arcade Fire, David Bowie, Regina Spektor, Bonnie Prince Billy, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, so many on and on and on...
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I think a have a lot of amazing stories, even though I'm only recently starting to travel. I have lead a very different life so far, even if most experiences pertain to my family.
