I'm an easy going guy interested in meeting people from all walks of life. A history graduate, I'm now a lawyer. I've been traveling quite a bit - having been across America, Asia and South America, as well as lots of Europe - sometimes Couchsurfing, so would like to give back a bit.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have only hosted a mutual friend through CS once before and I really enjoyed the experience. I haven't yet used CS to surf anywhere else yet though, but I've heard so many good things from friends!
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm into all kinds of movies - recently I've enjoyed some foreign films; The Lives of Others, but also big Hollywood movies like Inception and The Dark Knight. Basically a big mix of things. I watch more TV, things that are very British, like The Thick of It, but also Mad Men, Big Bang Theory, New Girl and the like. Music wise, I'm a big indie kid, so bands like Bombay Bicycle Club and Vampire Weekend. Also French electo swing, especially Caravan Palace. Also big bands like Muse. I read mostly non-fiction stuff, especially things on Indian history which was my main degree interest.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Probably doing an overland trip from Mumbai to Beijing, over three months. I also summited a 6000m mountain in Bolivia.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hopefully I can share my insights about travelling round the world with other people. I also know some really cool bars and restaurants in London!
My Interests
I'm a big foodie, so I always look forward to trying out new dishes wherever I travel. Conversation is really important to me too - being able to talk passionately about something with people I have met. I'm interested in most things, but differences of culture and politics especially. I also love the outdoors, especially going on long hikes.
