ABOUT ME

I'm quiet yet opinionated, silly yet serious, bookish yet adventurous. I'm curious about the world and always wanting to learn new things. I share my life and my travels with my wife, Chris.

We traveled around Europe for most of 2008 and spent the first third of 2009 exploring Central America. After a few years back in DC enjoying our friends and working to replenish our funds, we are now back on the road--indefinitely.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had numerous experiences as guests with hosts around Europe. Also we've been both hosts and travelers through two similar organizations---Servas and Women Welcome Women. It's been great! We love meeting locals; you get a much more "real" travel experience this way.
