ABOUT ME
funny how a day sometimes wraps up like the twist at the end of a novel. even funnier how life can happen that fantastically anywhere- home, or abroad. i love my city but balance my local curiosity against a strong wanderlust by taking as many little trips as possible. my interests span the worlds of local agriculture, biking, baking, and photography, though my greatest love is writing. i like to explore a new place on foot or by bike, and tend to go in search of cafes, bookstores and farmer's markets before museums or landmarks. i like very much to live in the place i am visiting- not that i dislike museums!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing mountains, real ones, for the first time, when I was in Spain, was breathtaking. My aunt was living and working overseas, and we took a day trip to France, over the Pyrenees. The Pyrenees at night? easily one of the most incredible things I've seen. Also, within the first few weeks of my first job on a farm, I saw a Bald Eagle fly over the field-- it really made me feel like I was in a good, natural, life-giving place.
