About Me
Hello! I've just graduated from university with majors in international relations and Spanish, so I'm travelling for a while before starting a master's program :)
I'm a very open-minded and active person. I love nature, deep conversation about world issues, and art.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I don't want the "tourist experience". There is no reason to travel if you don't open yourself up to others and learn from them. I hope to meet people who are excited to share their lives, if only for a few days.
"A man who looks at the world at age 50 the same way he did at age 20 has wasted 30 years of his life."
-Mohhamed Ali
Interests
International affairs, cooking, biking, hiking, fishing, deep conversations, picnics, concerts, American football, baseball
Music, Movies, and Books
I like music that makes me dance, books that make me forget where I am, and movies that make me think. I've recently gotten into documentaries about lesser-known political and historical events.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fell in love with my incredible host in Switzerland... we are still together long-distance and love to travel together! He taught me how to snowboard in the Alps... it was my second time seeing snow ever in my life, and it was in July! Also paragliding, driving from the east to the west coast of the United States alone and hiking in national parks, and teaching English in Hungary.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to cook for and with people-- I can teach you healthy and unhealthy versions of American foods! I like to share music, language, and world views.
What I Can Share with Hosts
An open mind and a good time
