I'm Vita :) I'm open-minded, open-hearted and not crazy... at least not in a bad way!I love to travel, meet new people and gain a true insight into different cultures. I enjoy being challenged and being out of my comfort zone, I find this is when I learn the most about myself and the world we live in.

Live life, help others, learn and don't be blind to the possibilities passing by... ...oh, and eat good food :) "Why not?" - this is my current mantra I guess hahah

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love couchsurfing and am known to enthusiastically promote couchsurfing to fellow travellers. It's such a good way to meet people and get quickly absorbed into different communities. I also plan to host when I can (I tend to be homeless most of the time due to travelling). I think the couchsurfing concept is an awesome way for people to truly experience different cultures.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now couchsurfed throughout Europe and Chile. And I plan to keep doing so as this is the fastest way I've found yet to get to know a foreign culture and meet like-minded people.

Adventuring off the beaten track (I'm not into 'touristing' generally), dance, languages, design, live music/jamming, hiking, exploring, photography, yoga, good food, good/quirky people, etc, etc, etc.

I looooove latin music! Particularly Latin American music. And I specifically love dancing to it!

I have read more books than I can count (in most genres, other than thrillers - I can't deal with them!).

Movies. Love them - even though I haven't made time to watch anything for a long time. I particularly like kids ones, where I laugh more than the kids. BUT. NO. HORROR. Bar vampire movies, gotta love a bit of exsanguination.

Current favourite is The Intouchables...

Pffff One amazing thing.... ...Playing with phosphorescence in waves, convincing my sister that a cloud we were seeing was from a big volcano eruption (I was right), being chased by a frill-necked lizard (did you know they have teeth?), listening to dolphins sing, swimming with manta rays, seeing monsoonal rain sweep across wetlands in Kakadu, going to a traditional Ecuadorian gathering of midwives, jamming with my family and locals in Indonesia, listening to my sister and father singing.....

Being from the mixed background that I am, I have many fun, if not random, facts about nature, travel and animals to share with any that listen. I love to eat new foods and to cook and share food with people. Having travelled quite a bit, I can share travel tips. I love teaching and learning to dance. And I love to share music!
