My name is Vegard, I am 24 years old and work for a human rights organization where I teach classes about democracy, sustainability, prejudice and more.

I love meeting new people from other countries and learn about their cultures. It's super interesting to learn about the differences and similarities across borders, like learning how the political system works, which part of your country is being made fun of for whatever reason and such things. In addition, I like video games, board games, football and cats!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm using Couchsurfing to meet new people from all over the world. I'm not in a position right now to travel myself, but I would love to host and meet people in my flat. Maybe at a later point I can travel around a bit, but for the moment I'm looking to host.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a bit different stuff in terms of music. Lately I've listened to quite a lot of Norwegian music, and I'm very open to being showed local music from different countries.
In terms of movies, I definitely enjoy parody movies. More or less any movie starring Leslie Nielsen is a hit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Spain for half a year during my studies! That was a truly awesome experience where I met a ton of amazing people from Spain and several other countries.

I have lived in Norway all my life and can teach you everything about the culture and language. I also have a vocational certificate within tourism so I can also give you advice about where to go next in Norway.
