After living and working in Morocco for one year and a half I started studying Liberal Arts and Sciences in Freiburg in 2018.
I like to cook and to eat and have discussions, am a big fan of card games and always like to learn some new ones.
When travelling I love to meet new people and get to know their way of living but can also just sit somehwere all day reading a book or wander around.
I am trying to live as sustainable as possible and am interested in everything that's connected to this. I am still learning about it everyday and love to have an exchange about this topic with people from different backgrounds to hear their opinions and experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My roommate and I always had friends and "friends of friends" sleeping at our place in Rabat and each time it was a fun and unique experience. I think it's a whole different way to get to know a place if someone that knows it tells you about it. And what a great possibility: not only seeing a place but also getting to know a new person that made different experiences than yourself and has their stories to share.
beekeeping, rock climbing, gardening, knitting, politics
Music, Movies, and Books
The last books I read (I mostly just start to read any book lying close to me so there's no real common theme)
Amos Oz - A tale of love and darkness
Terry Pratchett- Mort
Buchi Emecheta - Second Class Citizen
Mechtild Borrmann - Trümmerkind
Tahar Ben Jelloun - The Blinding Absence of Light
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a head full of funny anecdotes, can be quite sarcastic and love to share a laugh. I can share my travel experiences and teach you some funny german words. (Futterneid for example means to be jealous of somebody else's food)
What I Can Share with Hosts
There's nearly always a jar of my family's home made honey in my backpack
