I like to figure out what's going on in the world and trying to understand it. I guess it's the main reason why I've studied and worked in the media and news environment. For four years, I've been a cameraman and journalist for CBC/Radio-Canada (public broadcast corporation in Canada). I've loved it. Mainly, my work was to meet interesting people, learning new things everyday and finding the beauty everywhere.

But after four years, I wanted something more. I wanted the freedom. The freedom to work on the stories that interested me even if it's not "news". The freedom of learning and discovering others cultures, others ways of living.

So I decided to quit my job to travel. Permanently. By foot.

Since September 2015, I'm walking in Europe and photography the world, the people, the beauty. Travelling by foot gives me the opportunity to not only see a country, but to take time to look at it, to hear its sounds and to smell its odours. There's a Sadhu proverb that says "If we don't get by foot where we want to go, we won't see what we want to discover."

Couchsurfing is the perfect way to travel in a city. It gives me the chance to meet local people who, very often, have an open-mind, love to learn new things and have a lot to teach about their own culture.

Of course, I love to travel; to speak about traveling and to hear people's stories. I like going on "adventure", packing a tent and going where I've never been, not knowing what I'll discover.

I have a big interest in geopolitics. For me, it is the best way to understand a bit more what's going on in the world, to have a little answer when I'm wondering "why is that happening?"

As a cameraman and photographer, it is obvious that I like photography and movies. I like to discover other reality through someone's camera. If you're a photographer, I would be more than happy to see your photos!
