I have traveled most of my adult life. I spent 15 years in Europe teaching cross-country skiing winters, and doing a variety of jobs over the various summers. Everything from working as a hotel maid, to working with spinally injured, and being a tour guide. I've been back in Hawaii since 2007, and have spent a fair amount of my time working on promoting ocean safety. I've spent two of the last three years traveling in South East Asia - incredible people, scenery, culture, food and nature! I'm happy with my own company, and also enjoy getting to know new people. I'm spiritual, but not religious. Nature is an important part of my life - although I grew up in LA I prefer to be out in the countryside. I love to readโmostly sci-fi and fantasy as I love the imagination, creativity, and philosophy wrapped up in a good story. In the last couple of years I've sporadically been learning tango (beginner level) and watercolor. Travel is my passion, and it continually shows me what an amazing world we live in, full of good, kind people.
