About Me

I am a fresh grad from Drake University, Iowa, with a Marketing and Information Systems double major degree. I grew up in Malaysia, and have traveled to 12 countries. I came to United States in Fall 2013 to pursue my study. So far, I have been to Kansas City, Omaha, Chicago, Austin, Wisconsin, Michigan, Niagara Falls, New York, Washington DC, Purdue, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle, and Portland. I love traveling, as you can see, and I have a boyfriend, so I normally travel with him. I love theme parks (Disney, Universal Studio and Six Flags). I love adventure. I love to meet people with different background and share my story with them. I love to hang out with my friends. I love FOOD. I love music. And I love peace. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started as a member in 2014 when my friends and I are planning to go to San Francisco. The exchange rate that time was incredibly high and the cost of living in San Francisco is incredibly high too. We heard about couchsurfing from our friends, so decided to give it a try. We found our host, Ken, and he's a SUPER nice guy. He has genuinely provided us a GREAT accommodation experience. And I fell in love with couchsurfing. We had a good chat with each other and we get to meet with his friends and other couch surfers too. He also gave us great advice on how to travel like a local in San Francisco. Since then, I realized couchsurfing is a great place for me to meet with awesome local people, hang out with them while still get to traveling around with minimum cost. Of course, I will always bring my host something authentic from Malaysia, and I am open to cook them a meal if I am allowed to use the kitchen! :)
