Hello!
My name is Victoria.
I am Russian and I have been living in Japan for 11 years.
I am a teacher. I teach English, Russian and German languages. I am interested in Chinese culture, history and language. I am a beginner in Chinese though. When I was 8 or 10 years old I saw a Chinese movie with Jet Lee and since then I fell in love with the actor and the culture. I mastered Chinese history at school and dreamed to move to China but, unfortunately my dream didn't come true.

Unfortunately due to my health problems I had to return to Japan from China. I couldn't make my dream come true. I was diagnosed with a Still's disease and have been in the hospital since June 17 🏥
Right now I can only accept long requests (from a month) from people who don't mind becoming roommates ❤️‍🩹

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I used Couchsurfing many many years ago and it was a very bad experience so I quit. A friend of mine recommended me this website just recently and I decided to create an account again.
I think my main purpose of using this website is not only hosting and meeting various people, but also, if possible, making good friends.

I love Chinese history and culture but I never had a chance to visit the country, even though I live close enough. But after visiting Korea this September I decided that I really want to make my childhood's dream come true and in winter I am going to visit Shanghai and celebrate New year there.
I am learning Chinese now, so if it is a place, where I could also find help in practicing, that would be amazing!

I started hosting people and am receiving a lot of requests, so there are some ground rules of staying at my place:
✓ No noise;
✓ No smoking;
✓ No drinking;
✓ Keep a flat clean as possible; since I moved to a new please, damaging, scratching or anything is prohibited otherwise you will be charged for repairing. I am allergic to dust.
✓ I work 7 days a week and have no time to show you around. I will give you a spare key to my flat. If you lose it, you will be charged for it;
✓Since I mainly host girls, there are ground rules for men: sleeping in pyjamas; walking around only in underwear is strictly prohibited.
