Overview
About Me
I'm Vic! I used to be a very bored Medicine student until decided to leave the academic world and travel (studying doesn't fit everybody). Now I'm an artist. What a change, right?
Have been backpacking for the last three years around the world. Started with my own country, then Latinoamerica, after (for long time) in Europe and recently Central Asia. Travelling strictly by land these days, for a year and a half mainly hitchhiking. I do volunteering in hospitality, social projects, farms. I've had many jobs while moving from being a translator for documentaries to cook assistant. I'm a jack of all trades :)
Recently crossed through Russia, into Georgia and hitchhiked (during day and night) my way back to the Balkans. Spent two months in Montenegro and currently visiting Kosovo.
I'm love painting, I'm a bit of a singer, I'm into writing and reading a lot. My interests are very mixed
and I love to share a good conversation about travels, movies, art, music (mainly music), and fun stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I signed up long time ago, but I barely have used it as I usually stay at friends' or volunteering. However, the few times I did, the people, the experiences and the vibes were great!
I want to meet other travellers and take in all the energy and good advice.
Also, it's way more interesting to explore a new place guided by a local.
Interests
I love museums, galleries, walk around the city, visit every iconic street (even if it's only iconic for you), listening to music and make my Spotify playlist bigger.
