I was born in NY but moved to France when I was 3 years old, and didn't move back to the US until highschool, 11 years later. When my parents left for Asia after I had graduated, I escaped to Puerto Rico where I lived for the better part of a decade. Now back in NY, the place where I was born feels like a foreign country to me but I am determined to find roots here.
